Ferenc Szepe, Head of Department at Hungary’s Ministry of Agriculture, Babolna Stud Director Balazs Berci, Adnan Sultan Al Nuaimi, ADEC Director General and Ms Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, Chairperson of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies (IFHRA), Chairperson of Ladies & Apprentice Racing Committees in the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR)gave away the trophies to the winners of the various rides.

Babolna Stud Director Balazs Berci said, “The HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s support has lifted this event which we have been staging here for over 13 years now.

“This year we have managed to get an increase in participants to about 80 and after the success with the help of the Festival and the publicity, we are now looking to cross 100 next year,” he added.

Ms Lara Sawaya said, “With winners hailing from four countries- Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria- this event has been an international success for the Festival as well as the local organizers.”

“The passion and love for Arabian horse was evident in most of the riders and their crew and this augurs well for this noble breed of equine stars,” she said.

“It was our debut here in Hungary and the Festival is happy with the success, thanks mainly to the devotion and support of the Babolna Stud and the FEI and Hungarian officials,” Ms Sawaya said.
