Dutch trainer Miss Karin van den Bos scored yet another win in the HH Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival’s Wathba Stud Farm Cup (Copenhagen Cup) race at Klampenborg in Denmark on Sunday.
Despite a heavy downpour, Athlete Del Sol under Carlos Lopez came from the outside on the right-handed track to score over Labwah under Per-Anders Graberg. W Catch Cash under Anna Pilroth was a shock third while the relatively untested Niraan under Fabienne De Geer finished fourth. Mad Makz, front runner for most of the race under jockey Fanny Olsson finished fifth.
“I am thrilled with Athlete Del Sol’s third win in the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival this year. The Dormane son won the H.H.
